The Speaking Eyes Foundation envisages a future where young orphaned blind girls not only receive essential domiciliary care but also thrive in a supportive and inclusive environment. To realize this vision, the foundation proposes the development of a state-of-the-art multi-storeyed Learning-cum Residential Hostel Complex at already demarcated, approachable & suitable piece of land admeasuring about 7,588 square meters situated at prominent yet peaceful suburban vicinity in District Ghaziabad, NCR Delhi tailored to meet the unique needs of visually impaired orphan girls.

  • Needs Assessment and Comprehensive Care:

  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand the specific educational, healthcare, and emotional support requirements of orphan blind girls.
  • Develop personalized care plans that address each girl’s individual needs, ensuring holistic development and well-being.

  • Educational Facilities and Skill Development:

  • Establish integrated educational facilities within the proposed complex, equipped with adaptive technologies and specialized learning resources.
  • Offer comprehensive academic support, including tutoring in Braille language and assistive technology training, to empower girls in their educational pursuits.

  • Community and Recreational Spaces

  • Create communal areas within the proposed complex for social interaction, recreational activities, and cultural enrichment.
  • Foster a supportive community environment where teen aged girls can build friendships, develop interpersonal skills, and participate in extracurricular activities.

  • Funding and Partnerships:

  • Seek partnerships with government agencies, philanthropic organizations, and corporate sponsors to secure funding and resources for the construction and maintenance of the residential complex.
  • Explore grant opportunities and fundraising campaigns to ensure the long-term sustainability and expansion of services.

  • Design and Accessibility

  • Collaborate with architects and accessibility experts to design a purpose-built Learning-cum-Residential Hostel Complex that prioritizes safety, accessibility, and comfort.
  • Ensure the proposed Complex includes features such as tactile signage, auditory aids, and wheelchair accessibility to cater to varying levels of visual impairment.

  • Healthcare Services and Rehabilitation:

  • Provide on-site First-Aid healthcare services tailored to the emergency medical needs of visually impaired young girls & staff members, including regular health check-ups and specialized treatments.
  • Offer regular and periodic Visits by Experienced Doctors for routine follow-ups and interactions.

  • Vocational Training and Career Development

  • Introduce vocational training programs designed to enhance blind girls’ employability skills and prepare them for future career opportunities.
  • Collaborate with local businesses and organizations to facilitate internships, job placements, and entrepreneurship initiatives.

  • Advocacy and Outreach

  • Launch Advocacy Campaigns to raise awareness about the challenges faced by orphan blind girls and promote inclusive policies and societal support.
  • Engage with the community through various outreach programs and educational initiatives to foster empathy, understanding, and support for visually impaired girls.

The proposed Learning-cum-Residential Hostel Complex by Speaking Eyes Foundation represents a bold step towards creating a nurturing and empowering environment for young orphaned blind girls. Through comprehensive care, education, vocational training, and community integration, the foundation aims to equip girls with the skills, confidence, and opportunities they need to lead independent and fulfilling lives. Speaking Eyes Foundation is dedicated to the cause of protecting the childhood of young blind girls left alone by their parents, spreading smile on their face. The Foundation is run and managed voluntarily by prolific Academicians, Endowed Lawyers and Awarded Retired Senior Citizens with determined approach to help the orphaned blind young girl children so as to protect their rights as well as to generate awareness among people about issues that concern everyone, from their basic needs to secure future embellishments. At Speaking Eyes Foundation, we are dedicated to illuminating the path of empowerment for visually impaired girls.

  • To offer scholarships and distribute school uniforms, books and notebooks, free of cost, to the children of economically weak blind women, with a view to facilitate their education.

  • To undertake a survey of blind young girls all over India and prepare their Case Histories. Based on this Case History, to provide assistance to them, as and when needed.

  • Organizing workshops in different regions of India for the development of blind girl children. Also to send talented blind girls to participate in National Level workshops.

  • The Foundation aims at building an Entertainment Club for young blind girl children so as to encourage them in various competitions like Singing, Playing Musical instruments, Dialogue speaking, Dramatics, Games, Sports, etc., with a view to tapping the potential of such blind angels of God.

  • Conducting awareness campaigns to highlight the challenges faced by visually impaired and orphaned girl children and educate the public about the importance of supporting and empowering them.

  • Collaborating with local welfare societies, government agencies, and other non-profit organizations to mobilize resources, raise funds, and create sustainable solutions for the visually impaired girl children community.
